Phil is the first person I go to see on Mondays after racing in Europe at the weekends. He knows my legs so well he can tell me how hard the race was. Even scarier, he can tell me what bike I used.

I'm Phil Holloway, a BTEC Level 5-qualified Soft Tissue Therapist and member of the Institute of Sport and Remedial Massage. I treat and rehabilitate a wide range of musculoskeletal problems — from Olympic-level cyclists to office workers whose shoulders have seized up from another long week at the desk.
I'm a qualified Kinesiology Taping practitioner. Treatment takes place in my private, modern treatment room in Amersham — serving Chesham, Berkhamsted, Chalfont St Giles, Chalfont St Peter, Chorleywood, Rickmansworth, Aylesbury, High Wycombe and Beaconsfield.
Every session starts with a conversation — where it hurts, how you move, what you're training for. Then specific, targeted bodywork: deep-tissue release, neuromuscular stretching, joint mobilisation.
No generic spa menus, no timer-led protocols. Just an hour of focused, craftsman-level work on the muscles and tissues your body has been asking about.
In the last 10 years, I have worked at World Championships, European Championships and Commonwealth Games, working for the New Zealand and Great British cycling teams. I'm currently freelancing for a world tour cycling team at some of the best races in Europe. The same hands that worked on them are the same measured, methodical, result-led hands that can work on desk-bound office workers.

Phil helps with the tightness I get in my back and shoulders. Not only does he massage — he stretches the muscles and corrects my posture, so I feel a foot taller when I walk out. The hot stone massage is out of this world.
After three weeks of rest I still pulled the same calf muscle. One session with Phil instantly relieved it and set me on the right course. Two more sessions later, fully recovered — and now running stronger.
Break down muscle knots and restore blood flow — so training days aren't a write-off the next morning.
Regular work on tight, overloaded muscles catches the small stuff before it becomes a month off the bike.
Release fibrous adhesions, realign muscle fibres and restore the range of motion your body was designed for.
Measurable drops in cortisol, a flood of endorphins, and a nervous system that finally exhales.
Same-week appointments usually available. Private treatment room in Amersham with parking on site. First-timers welcome — just give me a call or drop a quick message.
