The tape was invented by Japanese Chiropractor Kenzo Kase in the 1970’s. It has revolutionised the way taping can be used to treat, prevent and rehabilitate injuries.
It can help in the following ways:
“I see people that are 2-4 weeks away from a big event, such as a half marathon or an endurance cycle ride, the effects of over training can often cause a minor injury. I have found that with a combination of massage and especially taping I have got athletes through the final weeks of their event preparation.”

“May, June and July were brutal months, with the ITV4 Tour Series and National events coming thick and fast, not only the racing but the travelling between events, not to mention crashing! Phil Holloway was not only a great help with his massages but the taping was a massive help, especially on my lower back and knee. Without his help, I would not have achieved the results I have had this season.”

“The use of Kinesiology tape helped me after I had a minute fracture in my Cuboid bone (foot). With regular taping and support it gave me, I managed to keep my clients and my business running, instead of hobbling around in plaster.”
